8 Million Ways to Die, directed by Hal Ashby, is a tried & true gritty neo noir from the 80's that had a troubled production and some flaws but also an outstanding performance from lead Jeff Bridges.

Reversal of Fortune, directed by Barbet Schroeder, is based on the true story of Claus Von Bulow's 1980 suspected murder attempt of his wife Sunny. It won lead Jeremy Irons an Oscar for his performance as Claus.
